FISHBURN SET TO LAUNCH AS FULLY INTEGRATED AGENCY
The Fishburn Hedges Group today announced the creation of a single, unified communications business to reflect the increased demand for integrated corporate and consumer brand communications, with planning and communications science and the creation of shareable, digital content, at its heart. The move, effective from 6th January 2014, will see the integration of its three businesses: London and New York-based corporate PR agency Fishburn Hedges; consumer PR agency Seventy Seven; and branding and design consultancy Further. It will create a single entity, reflecting the need for cross-channel thinking for clients under a single brand called, simply, Fishburn.
The new business will be made up of four core groups:
Strategy, Planning & Insights: the strategic planning heart of the business in a communications world increasingly driven by research, data and analytics. Building on the agency’s strengths, a dedicated team will focus on data and research-led insight, strategic consultancy, analytics and evaluation.
Digital: a newly assembled team will combine the existing digital expertise of all three businesses. Creative solutions for clients will be digital and social by design, delivering an end-to-end digital capability, from web design and build to SEO, online issues management, social engagement and community management.
Creative: a new creative community from across the businesses will bring together brand design, digital creative, PR campaign creative and content creation. The group will form a creative hub running through the business.
Client advisory: the new business will focus and enhance the specialist consultancy expertise of its existing businesses, from reputation management, financial communication and public affairs, to consumer brand communications, sustainability consulting, employee engagement, brand consulting and corporate reporting. It will create a fluid consultancy base, which hand-picks the very best specialists to deliver communications thinking built around answering client challenges, rather than traditional agency silos.
Simon Matthews, chief executive of the Fishburn Hedges Group, said:
“In today’s connected world, multi-channel answers are needed to respond to the myriad of challenges facing clients. Solving those challenges requires real intelligence and brilliantly creative ideas to connect and engage with purpose and impact.
“The changes we’re making means Fishburn is built to deliver in a world where stakeholders and consumers are as inter-connected as we are. We’re making things simpler. By removing the different gateways to our expertise, launching Fishburn will mean we simplify the access to and delivery of our specialist knowledge, our rigorous approach to planning, our innately collaborative culture and our flexible approach.”
Following a transition period over the next couple of months, the new business will officially launch on 6th January 2014.
